We produce this high concentration by centrifuging your platelets in my office (blood spinning).<\/p>\n<h2>How does PRP work?<\/h2>\n<p>Blood platelets contain growth factors that can stimulate capillary cell regeneration.<\/p>\n<p>Hair PRP injections promote the growth and revitalization of hair follicles by stimulating your scalp's natural regeneration process.<\/p>\n<h2>The PRP Hair Treatment is an ideal solution for those who wish to :<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strengthen thinning hair<\/strong> Stimulates hair follicle growth for denser hair.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduce hair loss<\/strong> Slows capillary loss by strengthening roots.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Revitalize the scalp<\/strong> Improves blood circulation and nourishes the scalp for healthier hair.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Increase hair thickness and vitality<\/strong> For thicker, healthier locks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is the PRP injection procedure?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The injection appointment lasts a maximum of one hour. You must be accompanied during this procedure.<\/li>\n<li>The nurse takes a blood sample and we put your blood in the centrifuge at a given speed. This separates your red and white blood cells from your platelets.<\/li>\n<li>Once centrifugation is complete, I remove the platelet-rich plasma and reinject it into the scalp, close to the hair follicles. The procedure is carried out under ultrasound guidance and in a sterile environment.<\/li>\n<li>During the injection, your platelets, now more concentrated, release several growth factors. This release can create inflammation and pain, but it's what makes healing possible.<\/li>\n<li>The entire procedure is carried out in my office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How many treatments are needed?<\/h2>\n<p>Response to treatment varies from patient to patient. Some patients require a second treatment, rarely a third, to achieve optimal results in terms of hair regrowth and density.<\/p>\n<p>I'll see you six weeks later to assess regrowth and discuss further treatment if necessary.<\/p>\n<h2>What are the possible side effects?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>There are very few side effects, as this is a natural technique using your own blood.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The most common side effect is increased pain following the injection. In rare cases, this pain can last up to two weeks.<\/li>\n<li>The acute inflammation I cause is necessary for your tissues to heal. You may have no pain at all and still heal.<\/li>\n<li>Risks of infection and allergy to xylocaine (anesthetic) are very rare.<\/li>\n<li>A clot may form, or I may touch a nerve.<\/li>\n<li>The risk of deterioration of your condition or tissue rupture is very low. You must follow my post-treatment recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What are the recommendations following this intervention?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You must <strong>avoid anti-inflammatory drugs<\/strong> (including Advil and Motrin) <strong>and cortisone<\/strong> one week before and one week after the procedure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What should I do if I want this treatment?<\/h2>\n<p>You must make an appointment with me. You don't need a referral to meet me.
